I've been really sick since several days ago, and I'm still feeling nauseous :(. I got this flu from my sister, she got it from my parents, and they got it from my little brother.. He got it from his friends, and the chain goes on ;p . I hope that this is the last day of me feeling unwell, because tomorrow I'm going to Singapore for holiday!!! :D

Yeah I know that most of you had finished your holidays, but lucky me, my school starts on 3rd of August. Yosh! Thinking of the great Singapore Sale, Orchard road, Vivo city, Bugis junction and chinese food in China Town brings me some energy. they excite me!!! Ohhh I can't wait to shop!!

P.S: I'll be away for 4 days, so I wont be able to post anything.

Hi guys!!!! I am really and extremely sorry that I didn't update this blog since last month. I was having many problems that affected myself for weeks. Friends, families, who haven't had any problems? I know that we all have.. I was feeling bluuuuueeeeee (the sad parts) and reeedddddd (the mad parts). even till now.. :( . but I realize that sitting back and crying don't do any good.

Oh, how I really missed blogging! now let me present my first ever post (starting this July) hehehe ;P

Yesterday I went to Bedugul with my friends. we took the Tree Top adventure, which was fun actually, but due to my phobia of heights, it was Not fun. uuurrrghh.. I was so scared! the trees were so tall, and I couldn't stand the moving planks and ropes. tree top is so-not-me. But then we went speed-boating in the lake. Oh what fun. feeling the cold wind blowing my face and hair. lovely feelings, indeed. hehehehe. And.. I tried to steer the boat. hehe that's my first experience,really.

For any of you who is brave enough and adventurous, I recommend you go to 'Kebun Raya' in Bedugul if you're visiting Bali someday, to try the Tree Top stuff. :)

Today, a package arrived at my house. Guess what? Inside,it was a surprise pair of flat shoes from Wondershoe I mentioned in my post before, regarding the photo competition thing. Lucky me, Wondershoe didn't send something I don't like. I think they're cute! and what's more....they fit me well..Thank you Wondershoe! ;)

Hey... I'm back! I missed blogging so much! Did you miss my blog? Aahh.. don't deny it.. I know you did.. so here's a long long post, special for you ;)

Well, I haven't post anything about the prom night last Friday in Planet Hollywood. okay,nothing much to say-so this is what I wore at prom:

About yesterday, yesterday my bestfriends and I and my sister went to Villa Agga Citta. the major purpose was actually to celebrate my sister's birthday (though it was late). we stayed there for one (short) night and that was a very sweet escape. We had so much fun. The villa was great. we sang, we danced, we stole things. lol. we swam, or skinny-dipped (?), we screamed, we ate, we drank, we escaped... yeahh... Everything was great except one thing, which is a secret that I'll never tell. hihi. actually I want to tell you our 'adventure', but...just don't mind it. :D. Overall, we enjoyed every crazy moments we had. Every crazy things that we did.

Hmm...this afternoon Vina's boyfriend, Michael came for holiday to Bali. FYI he's from Jakarta (I wonder how could they succeeded in their long-distance relationship). But now I'm glad that she feels so happy. :D

Today, I went to a mall and the church. so tiring...

Oh, Oh, Oh!!!! I forgot to tell you guys, that I bought several things..love love love them! :D

Donna Karan and Me

Here's a peek of her Resort 2010 womenswear collection.

She's one of my favorite designers. In this collection I love the shocking pink and red colors she combined with the basic black, grey, nude and navy blue colors. She is, indeed, a very feminine designer.

Speaking of Donna Karan, she once came to my dad's office (or showroom, or workshop, or.. I don't really know the exact word for it) in Bali, of course. I was very surprised when he told me this rather old stuff. He said that Donna Karan ordered some wooden furniture from my dad's store for her stores in the United States. So they, Mrs Karan and my dad, discussed the thingie and my dad didn't tell me anything until she went back to her place. He seemed very proud of it and I was like, "you are shitting me, dad. How can you prove that?". Then he showed me photographs of Mrs Karan and him. I'll ask him to show me again those photos....hmm, till now it's still an unsolved mystery for me that Donna Karan knew my dad's furniture store.

... I'm still waiting for her to order more stuff from my dad's store until this day, this minute, this second. Oh.. you don't know how much I wanna meet her...FYI She studied fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design and I really wanna study there. really, really, really want and need to be there in the next several years. *sigh*. Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, Anna Sui, Narciso Rodriguez, Isaac Mizrahi, Derek Lam, and even Alexander Wang studied there also and they're like great, great worldwide-known designers.

Anyone can dream about their future. and mine is about me, being a famous designer like her (Donna Karan). hahahahaha now you can laugh until it hurts your stomach. But hey, who knows what will be going on tomorrow, or next week, or next year? May be my dream will come true. you know, who knows?

I checked my email just now, and found out a little surprise. yeah.. actually I joined that Wondershoe photo contest and submitted several photos of myself wearing the shoes. I didn't get the first place, second place, nor the third place. But, unexpectedly I will also get one pair of Wondershoe shoes, because they also like my photo. the difference is, that I can't choose the shoes I want. they'll just send them to my house. I hope that I'll get the one that I like. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Hmm... Remember those photos taken at the mangrove center in my older post? uhuh..that's right. They like one of them. they like that photo.

These are the things that I bought on Friday. what do you think of them? I think they're beautiful.. ;) and I love those two I consider my best buys. They're majorly basic pencil/tulip skirts, but I also bought a sheer cardigan, glittery legging, a blazer and a denim zipper bustier. I bought a total of 16 items with only $25. hihihihi so happy..

Watched X-men Origins: Wolverine (a must-see movie! so kewl!!) and hung out with my sista and Vina.. found out that Daniel Henney is one of the cast, which made me even love that movie more. He is so hot!!!!!! *sigh* remember my old post about him in a korean drama Spring Waltz? God I love him. his body... the fact that he's half Asian (American-Korean)..his smile..his voice..his moves..his acts..his friendly attitudes towards his fans..aaaa...I love everything in him..I want him!!

shitty electricity

went to mangrove center to do a photo session with my uncle this morning, and now, after seeing the pics, I do realize that he is a gifted photographer. ;p.

and then, it was a family day. we ate dimsum and picked wallpapers and curtains for the new house. I thought the color range in my new bedroom will be great. but... let's see after it's finished. I hope I didn't make a wrong decision. :(

Tomorrow is THE chemistry exam. and FYI, this evening when I just came home with an intention of studying, suddenly...the lamp went dead. I think the whole Denpasar was affected. It was so dark and there was only my sister and me in the house. we can't find any lighter but thank God we have an emergency lamp. I was bored and scared to death. Luckily not long after that our dad picked us up and dropped us in a cafe and we ended up studying and chatting and messing around with papers like crazy in the silent cafe for hours, with only iced lemon tea and frozen bubble tea being ordered.

I wish my new house has a generator machine.

I wish all my hard work that I've done for tomorrow's test pays of.

I wish I had have aladdin's magic lamp with me.

Amen.

how to dye your fabric

so, regarding the prom night that I'm going to attend, I have decided to design a prom dress for me and fortunately, my mom agreed and she is helping me with what I need. :)

I have designed the dress, bought the fabric and dyed them. and now I'm going to share to you how it went. I hope you like it ;)

you can dye generally anything, from a newly bought piece of cloth or even your old t-shirt or boxer. note that only organic materials can be dyed. polyesters can't. mine is actually silk wrinkled chiffon. i'm going to make a gradation of blue-green-yellow so here it goes.

what do you need?
rafia rope, a plastic washbowl, a saucepan, dye (DYLON, it's only $1 each), table salt, water, and a screwdriver.

How to do it?
(a) boil enough water in the saucepan.
(b) soak the fabric in a cold water in the washbowl.
(c) make a small hole on the Dylon tin wtih a screwdriver. don't try to turn the lid.
(d) if you want to put more than one color, tie a part of the fabric with the rafia rope TIGHTLY.
(e) when the water in (a) is boiling, add some salt to it.
(f) add some of the dye to the boiling water. if you want to have bolder color, add more. and it is important to dissolve the dye well first.
(g) squeeze the fabric in (d).
(h) soak the fabric in boiling water after the dye is put in, for some time. the longer it is, the bolder the color will be. in this case I want to make it sheer, so I only needed something like 3 minutes.
(i) look at step 1,2 and 3 on the images below for clearer explanation. (I explain better with images rather than words ;) )
(j) open the tie and dry fabric in the sun.

now if you want to try these steps to your faded tees or cardigans, just do it! if you are bored with the colors of your clothes, now you can replace them with new colors. ;)

Ahhh... Finally... yesterday my new shoes from Wondershoe arrived safely at my home. They're very comfortable to wear, and thank God they fit my feet. I love them.. And now I'm thinking of buying more shoes from their shop (since they're quite affordable), but not this month! I have spent my allowance in many things, including two more shoes. hmmmm.. I wonder when will they arrive at my home.

yes. call me late. call me so-yesterday or even so-last-year, for I had just discovered these beautiful, gorgeous and romantic art works found in Lavazza 2008 calendar. they are dazzlingly magnificent! I love every single detail on them. the colors, the dresses, and of course the concept. i looooovvvveeeee......

this picture inspires me to design my own prom dress. the theme is under the sea. wait till I've finished working on it. ;p

Eating seven plates of sushi in Sushi Tei today, I felt like I am a food-filled balloon. I was eating like crazy to the extent that I was unable to put anything more in my mouth. Uh-oh.. one is going to find out that she'd gained weight tomorrow. >o<

by the way, I got a great news yesterday. My SAT score has been announced in the collegeboard website and I got 700 in the maths part. that means that I am guaranteed to get an at least half of the scholarship to study in BIS. woo-hoo!! I'm proud of myself, really, for I had done so much studying in order to achieve that high score. :)

P.S: sorry for those who have blogs previously linked in this blog, because of this layout change, they all vanished! but I will try to link all of your blogs, dear. but not today. no worries, okay..

last Saturday, my best friend Vina had a sleep over at my home. we had so much fun! a bit of mind refreshment is needed for my exhausted brain. hihi. we made lots of mess (lots of mess, again i retype it, lots of mess.) and we played dress-up! with loud banging dance music and ourselves as the photographers, we posed and then mixed and clashed stuff again.

too bad Gaby is not allowed to take part in our craziness. she has an exam starting today. ToT

statement necklaces

so this is what I did when I am supposed to be studying hard for the exams. My sister and I made these necklaces and hair clips, just because we were so bored with our school stuff. I can't wait to make more... my mom told us to just sell them, and yeah if anyone is interested, you're welcome to contact me, tough they're not originally for sale. heheheh :D

basically the main materials were ribbons, cardboard, some cheap toys and also colorful fabrics that I previously bought to make pencil cases and bags. glue gun, ruler, cutter and scissors were also needed. Oh and we also needed lots of patience and music to keep us energized.

actually I am inspired by other bloggers that had made their own statement necklaces, and I got some ideas from this link, which is a shop that sells cool accessories. and I mean it. they are really cool! and I am also inspired by this bow necklace from madness.

oh my god. today is the official beginning of the IGCSE exams. and my very first exam, which is the physics practical, was Horrible. with capital H. can I still achieve A*?? geez, I don't wanna talk about it. what's even bothering me more is that I caught a flu and I have this annoying runny nose. I even got a note from someone concerning about the exams,and I guess I should do what is written there... *sigh. a bad day for me, no?

1) i am so lazy to study, but most of the times, i got high marks in my studies. and that makes some people call me a nerd. i barely study for any tests, but i don't know why they like to call me that. should i be happy? or should i be confused?

2) i like guys because of their attention for me.

3) i need more allowance. but it's a hard thing to express this to my parents, since actually my allowance now is just enough. but i want more!! sigh.

4) "i am on a special diet", as Edward Cullen in Twilight said. oh talking about Twilight, i hate the movie so much! the novel is much better.

5) i so want to study in the States. although i have never been to that place before, but i know i love it. and i am looking forward to it, but i don't know. i hate when my mom says "it is too far.." .i mean, hello? what does webcam do? what do msn and skype and yahoo messenger do?

6) i am a big, big spender of money. enogh said.

7) i have no problems on shopping in a flea market. i have no problems on wearing cheap pieces of cloth as long as they look good. however i also put my heart on things that i couldn't afford to buy.

8) most people said that i am quiet and cold and mysterious--and you name it--- when they first knew me. but after some time, they'd say that i am talkative and weird. they're right. i act differently towards different people. and it is not based of anything. i just feel like it. laughs nervously.

9) my favourites : christmas for holidays, betsey johnson and marc jacobs for designers, pink for colors, jason mraz and jay chou for singers, shoes for sure, and vintage stuff. and convertibles. and violin. and moneyyy. and surprises. and shopping spree. and fame. and many many more wonderful things.

10) being ignored is one of the things that i hate the most.

a little surprise

i'm glad i went to school today. hehe. the voucher has arrived! i just knew today that i got the third position for the IGCSE examination in Art and Design. yaayyyyy!! i am proud of myself, really, for it is international. \^o^/

the director of the cambridge section in my shool was really proud, i guess, because he is also the art teacher in my class. laughs. he asked my other friends and i to take several photographs and he said that they will appear in the school's website.

and special congrats for Audi, Jein, and Laksmini (i'm sure you still have your grin on your face because you beat me in Indonesian language, hahahah)

my name was there in today's 'tokoh' newspaper. but i am not really proud though. i was one of the best participants in the last year's IGCSE exam in the world, and they said that i will get a 50 pounds voucher to shop in amazon.com because of that. i am happy, but i still don't know how to use the voucher. hmmm what do you think i should buy??

went to a mall and drooled and wished that i had lots of money to shop. there was a sale in topshop and also dorothy perkins, and rotelli!!! but i don't think my mom will be happy if i buy too much things. so unfortunately i didn't buy anything today. cries. she is not a big spender of money, unlike me...

a tough saturday

i took the SAT exam this morning. and it was super-hard. the English part was cuh-ray-zee!!! i was guessing most of the answers. although i knew that points are deducted for wrong answers but what the hell, who knows if i made the right choice?
but i think i did well in the maths part. only in the maths part. aarrrghhh... i don't think that i can get a scholarship now.. ToT . and i couldn't wait for the result to come. sigh. i need to be cheered by you guys...

well then i went to Sushi Tei with my mom and sister, and ate lots of sushi there. negitoro maki is one of my favorites. in the evening i went to Ocean Beach Club to celebrate my bestfriend's birthday, monica. there were her old friends too but it was okay, i made friends with them. i am always happy when i meet and get to know new people. ^o^. meeting and talking to new people open my eyes even more and make me understand something from different points of view. and for me it is a valuable lesson. hihihi

today i got very very good news. i am very ecstatic. my IELTS test result is....

8.0 !!!!

when i phoned my mom and she told me that beautiful number, i was like, oh my god, it's unbelievable. i was just expecting something like 7.0. but yaayy i am very happy now.
but thinking of tomorrow makes me sick. i will take my SAT examination tomorrow. if the result is good, may be i will get a scholarship to study in Bali Int'l School. but the problem is that i am NOT ready for the exam!! >o<

a small reunion

oh it was fine. we enjoyed it.

yeah, actually my best friend vina arranged a small reunion for our close friends when we were still in elementary school. i thought at least 8 of us would come. but yesterday we were just four. others, they had another thing to do. how sad, but it was great yesterday.

we went to Waterbom and ate and swam and splashed and slided and talked and laughed. it was fun, you know, meeting and playing with our childhood close friends, and we haven't met since ages. i'm quite disappointed actually, because some of them were not able to come. may be someday i should arrange a better reunion with more friends. and of course force them to come.

it was pretty tiring yesterday. in the evening, mu uncle, my boyfriend, my sister and I went to Four Seasons Resort in Jimbaran to see a painting exhibition. it's not exactly a painting. the artist paints the negative of the painting on an acrylic glass and before the oil dries, he stamps it onto a piece of paper or canvas. so it's really impossible to reproduce the same painting. it seems hard although the ideas and objects painted are really simple. he is actually a balinese, called I Made Arya Dwita Dedok. he's my uncle's friend FYI. his exhibition's theme was Love, Peace and Understanding. really general, i think. but it's no surprise if the prices of his paintings are expensive. i can understand that.

after that we went to a nearby fish market by the sea to take a few photographs. my uncle, who is a pro in photography, taught me several things. but yeah my photos are still not that good. haha

then we stopped in Simpang siur near patung dewa ruci. my uncle taught me how to take photos of cars' light. i also learned to take good pictures of glowing objects in the dark. it's amazing! but my boyfiend's camera amazed me the most. it's brilliant. but i'm not that serious in photography, so... it doesn't bother me much.hehe

feeling hungry, my mom called and we met at sanur, in a small japanese 'warung' i don't know what it's called. we ate takoyaki and sushi. so delicioussss and made my stomach really full. now i'm drooling TT

today i'm not going to school. too lazy to go. moreover there's nothing important at school today, so i just stay at my mom's comfy room. oh last night i slept with her, replacing my dad. he's out of town.

i got a new camera

yesterday, my uncle bought a camrea for me. actually we've been browsing and searching for good camera with a reasonable price. and finally i have one! yaay!

the camera is fujifilm finepix s700. though it's only about Rp 2 million, it's amazing! with 10x optical zoom and 7.1 megapixel, i think this camera is just enough for me, since i'm just an amateur. it has a manual function, and that makes it possible for me to learn the basic of photgraphy, i guess.

now i'm experimenting on ways to capture a focused and nice pictures.

by the way, tomorrow is my IELTS test! wish me luck and confidence guys..

drama addict

whether korean, or taiwanese, or japanese drama, they're all very nice! very sad, but very romantic. call me a very late person, but i just finished watching the whole episodes of Silence. that tv series once was reproduced in indonesian, but i didn't watch it that time. and FYI, that film was successful to make me cry for hours, again and again.
even the soundtrack itself is extremely sad and has a sorrowful harmony.

i just knew his name several days ago, when i saw a book in Kinokuniya, which is the biggest bookstore i have ever been to. the self-taught amazing artist, Arturo Elena is a great fashion illustrator. and i love the way he uses colors and techniques. he is very successful in making different textures, materials, expressions and details.

i'm back

okay.

the holidays are over now. ToT .cries. but i had pretty much laughs and fun back there when i was in jakarta. i like that city a lot. i mean, i frequently feel that bali is a rather boring place for me, a teen who don't like to dive, scuba-dive, surf, or doing those adventurous kind of things-for now. i feel that the capital city of indonesia is where i am supposed to be. i wanna live there! but i cannot...

what do i like there? yeah, you know.. doing all the shoppings.. or even just windowshop in many unique and great boutiques and shops (though not all of them i can afford, with my allowance). i admit that i didn't shop till i drop. but i am quite satisfied with what i got.

as i mentioned before, the list of my tights is growing. i bought many stockings and leggings with many colors. i love the pink one! and the yellow one! and the silver leggings! oh i wish that money grows on trees. and with no doubt i will fill my garden full of those green and lovely plants! but money doesn't grow on trees, so.. i just can dream that someday it will. but only on my trees. teehee

i need the money...! to buy this very very stunning leather jacket i saw in ZARA. i need it so badly..!!!

as an escape for the nyepi holiday, i will be gone. spend the week. off to Jakarta. and the must-be-done activity is of course my favorite sport, shopping! so many things i wanna buy, and my top list items right now are stockings, and also leggings. i want to have colorful and also printed ones. they are like my must-have items now.

shopping desire

i don't know why, but lately i crave a lot for shopping, especially after i find this bloopendorse online shop that sells cute outfits and for a smart-aka cheap, price. most of them are below Rp 200k !! the problem is, i don't have a personal bank account, so i guess i'd just persuade my mom to do the transferring. she'll be willing to help, won't she? if it's okay for her so it will be my first online shopping! i'm so excited about it. \^o^/

btw, since by tomorrow, my mom's office is back-to-its-daily-basis, (not a holiday anymore), i'll go with her to her office and do something to my plain pink headband, perhaps to make it to be similar to one of topshop's. i will try the best and use fabric that i bought last holiday. they're piling in my drawer waiting to be cut and sewn! it will be cute, i promise. it's fun actually making your own things, rather than buying same-looking things for an expensive price.

it's kinda like Blair's, and i love her headbands!

and also, today i watched the Slumdog Millionaire. it was great! so touchy, shocking yet funny. Danny Boyle is a genious, i could say. the film is very realistic.

starting yesterday it is a holiday for people living in Bali. today i had my piano lesson at 10, and then i went to a mall and bought a new shoes. nike shoes! it has pink, lime, black and white colors on it, and it is neon-ish. very eye-catching! and it is so adorable..

and at home i just visited other's blog. and so, i discovered this website polyvore and i think i'm getting addicted to it. it is so much fun to be able to express the style that i have to the things that i wore that day. today i've just created this one, which is very similar to what i wore today. and i'm going to make more sets. just wait!

hey, by the way...now i'm using a new template for my blog. what do you think? cute, right? i like it so much, since i like sweets and candies. ^o^

okay, as you see the title of this blog, i'm going to post about my fun weekend. i had a sleep-over at gaby's house. and i think it's the 5th time.

first of all, that saturday morning, vina and me went to tiara to buy a cake for gaby. we planned to give her a surprise. so we also bought colorful balloons. then,we 'sneaked' to her house while she were at school, bored studying, perhaps. lol. we, blew all the 25 balloons, and put our letters inside some of them. our plan was to make gaby burst all the ballons in order for her to read 4 letters that we wrote. it was tiring and breath-consuming blowing all of them! after that,we hid the ballons in the maid's room at the back of the house.

and then, we went back home.

in the evening, we went to her house, and ate out. around 9, we started to do each other's nails. oh and we had a simple pedicure, with oriflame foot cream and foot spray, which is so cool! then i put dark blue nail polish and yellow dots for vina's hand nails, and lime-y yellow with stars for mine. gaby loves purple, so purple it is for her. and my sister, she knew what's best for her, which i don't. laughs. by the way, we used the face shop nail polish that my mom bought in singapore for just $3 each! best buy!

and we gossiped and gossiped, and we story-told about ghosts, and it was 5 to midnight. lucky, gaby herself wnted to go to the bathroom. i told her that i also wanted to go, so we went together. actually, while we were in the bathroom (and i was trying so hard to hold gaby there until 12 o'clock), my sister and vina moved all the balloons to her bedroom, lighted the candles on the tart we bought, and turned off the light.

we took photographs and then it was time for gaby to pop the balloons, but using her butt! lols. it was really funny! until finally she had to pop all the balloons to be able to read our letters. so sweet... there were 4 letters from me, vina, my sister and a happy-birthday-sista note from us.

after that, i acted as a hair-stylist. laughs. and we played uno stacco. the one who lost had to drink Futami, a very strange-tasting tea.

finally..! this examination week is now over!
yeah! ^O^

i'm so glad that the next 2 week, it's a holiday!
actually we have to come to school on monday and tuesday after next week, but i consider those two days holiday, since i don't know that we are supposed to go on those days. ^^,
what i know is that the galungan, kuningan and nyepi holidays are taking 2 weeks off the school.

anyway,,
today is the last day of school and i have no lessons today!

so i just watch the korean tv series called Spring Waltz

there are many types, and i'm more attracted to the supersampler one.
it's not that expensive and it's very vintage, since it uses film to process the images. and the shape of the camera, so cute!!!

starting from today, until this friday, i am going to be super busy studying for the pre-cambridge exams. today i had maths and literature, and tomorrow is the killer subject, chemistry.
Oh-so-tired days are coming, and may be this is the last post i'll publish until friday.

So this 25 random things are very popular and people tag each other's name so they fill it. i'm just about to open up my 25 'secrets'. hope you know more about me!

1. most of the boys in my class are afraid of me. seriously, they are. i don't know why, but they keep calling me 'macan'. i admit that i am moody, but i am like that because they are distracting me! when they do so, i will usually shout to them to shut their F-ing mouth up, regardless who they are. even the most scary, muscular, temperamental and cruel boy in my class is also afraid of me. once he tried to disturb me by turning off the light while i was studying, and then i deliberately pour water onto his bag. luckily he didn't beat me up. fuhh...

2. i like to be liked by guys. since i was in elementary school, my innocent and short classmates liked me. i know they were not serious about that, but i enjoyed every moment that they put their attentions to me. even the boys who were not in my class liked me too. until now, i still like to be mysterious to them who like me, pretending to not know that they like me, but actually i realize it. ^_^

3. i don't like doing sciences although i'm good at them. i hate sciences, they are boring and useless for me. I am not going to remember any of them next year (?). but i AM taking those subjects. i really don't know why i still chose them instead of doing social studies. may be it's because my parents told me that i am capable of getting high marks-which is true. (i'm bragging right now. laughs)

4. i am lazy. what do i do when i see mess in my bedroom? nothing. usually it's when my mom gets angry and really really furious, that i start to clean them up a little bit.

5. i keep my nails short. although i use the nail-strengthening coating, it's still starting to be chipped when the white part is just about 5 mm long. it's so annoying! >.< style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);">i HATE durians. 'tempe', and peanuts. actually there are more that i hate, and most of them are fruits and vegetables. but for the three i mentioned above, i think they are disgusting! but my father, my mum and most of my family members, they LOVE it. love. which means that they buy them frequently and the smell of the durians, it hurts my nose so badly. i can't stand smelly food especially that spiky fruit.

eeww...

7. i like photos. either the one who takes it or the one who's being photographed. ~_~

8. i often dream about many impossible things. that i'd become a very rich and famous fashion designer... or that i'd own an island and build a resort there... or that i was a movie star... or that i had a perfect skinny body... or that i wouldn't have any problems in achieving those dreams.

9. as a child, i once cried when my mum told me that someday my teeth were going to fall out. it was very funny if i recall those moments. i was so afraid that it was gonna hurt so much that i cried as loud as i could.

10. i'm a type of girl who feels better after i cry. everytime i feel exhausted, angry at myself, scared, regretting something, and obviously sad because of something, i cry. and then, i feel better.

11. for me, late is a normal thing. i said so because if you're late, you're the one who feel the impact. i am late to school almost once every two days. and i think i didn't miss anything important. instead, the punishment is only attending a time-out, which means that i can't have my 2nd recess. but it's okay for me. :D

12. i hate anonymous calls. i don't know who the heck are they, but they are annoying! they keep calling and asking whether i was *name of his friend* or not. when i said no, instead of saying oh-sorry-and-thanks, they ask my name and where do i come from and where do i live and blah blah blah. they are such bastards for doing that stupidity.

13. until now, i still assume that expensive stuff are better than cheaper ones although they may actually be better somehow. for example, there are these two cases: case 1 --> i saw a Gucci bag for $500. case 2 --> i found an exactly same bag but in a retail store and priced only $30. i will think that the $30 one is a replica even though it is nawt, and i'd think that the cheaper one is crap although the material and design are same, actually.

14. i always think positive things about myself. that i am pretty, smart, talented, and admired.

15. i still like fairy tales and happy-endings. i adore them. classic but romantic stories. i hope that my life will be like a fairy tale that in the end, i live happily ever after. ^____^

16. i don't like being ignored and forced to do sumthing. it's just... i hate it. we all hate it, don't we?

17. i like observing animals but i'm scared of them. i like many cute animals like penguins, rabbits, hamsters, puppies, cats and many more. but i am too scared to touch them. it's like i am paranoid of animals. once when i was in grade 8, i went to my friend's house. there were many rabbits there, and one of my friend, she lifted the rabbit and she ran towards me. i couldn't think at that time so i just ran around the sofa like crazy! >o<

18. i am anti-colas until two years ago. i just couldn't swallow anything containing sodas like coca cola, fanta, seven up, etc. i felt like vomiting if anytime i drank soda-containing beverages.

19. Go Chilis! i like spicy and hot food. i like chili sauce and 'sambal', especially 'sambal matah'. it's so tasty! and one thing: i can't eat if the food is not spicy.

20. i am not a prefect anymore. i didn't know what did teachers see in myself that they deciced to make me as a prefect. but after several month they saw and realized that i am not that type of student, since i didn't follow the school (stupid) rules, they took that position off me.

21. i am a BIG money-spender. i always have a wishlist and the lists never end! i always want to buy many things and spend money even though i don't really need those things. shopping is like the air i breathe. no shopping means no life.

22. my signature is my father's idea. i still remember that i was a forth-grader at that time. my friends wew bragging about their cool hand-signature, and i didn't have one and i din't have any idea to create one. so i asked my dad and he created it for me. i often think to change it because it's too simple, but until this time, i still use that signature. :D

23. i'm immune of being easily tired (except for sports). i do many activities and extra lessons that i often arrive at 7pm at home. it's an ordinary thing for me. but when doing sports, i am extremely easy to be weary.

24. i doodle everywhere. in my notebooks, sketchbooks, journal, textbooks, even on a part of wall in my bedroom. i find it rather soothing and i do it whenever i feel bored or just to let the time pass quickly.

25. i am not a risk-taker. i am afraid of many things. height and darkness, ghost and monsters, et cetera. i'm just not a very brave person that will risk my happy life. if you ask me whether i want to be given a talent to see spiritual creatures or not, my answer is and will be definitely NOT!

hmm..it was on Saturday last week, 21st february 2009. i was so sad that i lost my mobile phone! i cried when my bestfriend hugged me and said that it's OK. i cried because it is NOT OK. i couldn't imagine telling my mom that it was lost (taken by the waiter guy). i cried because i regret for being so careless.

personally i don't like it. my handwriting is bad! especially if i'm not in the mood of writing. one of my friends said that it is exotic because it goes up and down, big and small. even some of the boys in my class have better handwritings!

safari review

On Friday, my friends and i went to the safari park. it was my first time going there. and,, it was fun! i enjoyed every moment when we were there and of course, we took a many many great photographs!
actually, we were supposed to be five. but Monica couldn't come >.<, cries, so it was just my sister, Vina, Gaby and me. and FYI, we were best friends since we were very small, kindergarten it is. and we are still best friends till this second.

anyway, the safari park is still new and thank God it was Friday where not so many people come there. we didn't have to queue or wait to enter the park. hooray! ^O^
at first, we had a short bus ride to BALI TERMINAL, where our fun and games began.
there, we had a walk and found really beautiful places to be photo backgrounds like the suspension bridge, the fossils and many more.

we actually had a hard time for not having a personal photographer to take millions of photos for us. but the guards over there, they are so kind and most of the times, they offer to help us. (though some of them were kinda harassing us, but not really, because they were really nice towards us)

and then we had a ride with a boat to see some animals. it was a bit boring because there were only several types of animals. there were some silly things also, like the gigantic snake robot, which we thought not scary at all.

after that, we continued our walk to the suspension bridge. it was totally ours! nobody passed through it and it lead us to a fossil park, which i named it. there were (fake, of course) dinosaurs fossils. and i like them. i like fossils. i like dinosaurs, even though i haven't seen and not likely to see one. there the park guards helped taking photos of us. oh, what a kind guy, i thought at first. but after helping us, he kind of forcing us to play the game that he operated. the Bumper Ride. it costs only 15k. i thought for a while and decided to play, but now i regret it. T__T. mine was not working at all! so i had to share with my sister, but i still had to pay full! i don't want to play it ever again! sigh.

i don't know what type of dinosaur is that, but it is beautiful!

so after we played that stupid game, we were so tired that we decided to just take the safari journey with the bus. it was exciting! we saw different animals from different countries like Indonesia, of course, India, and African countries. but what happened when we saw the rhinoceros, it excreted its waste. it pooed in front of us! eww... >_<>

start to care about OUR environment!!

So recently, Mr. Jerry, my environmental management teacher, asked the class to do an oral presentation about what it means to us. I was so bad at speaking in front of people [>.<], but i decided to do my best anyway. Here's that piece of (crappy) short speech: To me, environmental management is a very important subject and everyone should know about it. But, I believe that this subject is not supposed to be a compulsory subject to be taught at school. I think everybody should learn and know about the environment since they live in it, they feed in it, and they work in it. Why do, in my opinion, is not important to be compulsory? It's because what is happening in our world and to our environment is talked about everywhere. The topic environment is all over the world discussed and so it is easy to learn from media such as newspaper, internet and television. Moreover, at this moment, there are many serious issues about our environment. Most people from students to scientists are all concerned about global warming even though not all of them agree to it. What's more, they are also worrying about the rapid population growth in our tiny world. Other issues that are going to affect ourselves soon are the pollution-which includes water pollution, air pollution, land pollution and even noise pollution, ozone depletion, the lack of energy conservation, the destruction of wildlife habitats, and many more. One reason is that we, as humans, are thinking to grow and expand our business to get more profit. That means humans are destroying the environment in order to build new factories but we are not thinking about the place where all of us live. We are just considering what's best for us now, but we don't think that how we treat the nature could affect our next generations' lives. Just since several years ago, we ourselves have experienced the increase of average temperature. The summer is getting longer and hotter than before, where everything was green and blue. There are changes in weather pattern. Because of those that we feel, we realize that we are the ones that are responsible to make the Earth a better place to live on. That is where environmental management is needed. We realize that our environment is already destroyed, and that makes us to do something to reduce the effects. By learning environmental management from those cases that have happened, we start to know what should and shouldn't we do. We start to learn about it and do something to make it better. From those I can conclude that environmental management is crucial and significant to learn. But on the other hand, the subject is very wide and it is useless if we know everything about it but we are not doing anything. Making it a compulsory subject at school doesn't make most of teenagers to realize how important it is. People should have known and learned about our environment by reading information from various media.

while i was eating!

it was raining that night.
my friends and i were eating out at Jimbaran.
at Teba restaurant.
(don't you ever go there!!!!)

we sat beside the wash basin.
i sat exactly beside it.
the restaurant was very crowded.
full of japanese tourist.

at that time i brought with me my small rattan bag.

before the waiter served the meal,
i still had my phone.
i'm sure of it ,
because my friends saw me typing on my cell phone.

as the annoying waiter served the food,
i put my bag on the ground
because the table would be full of plates.
but i didn't put my phone inside my bag
because i thought that someone might accidentally kicked it.
i wore a dress that night, so i didn't have any pocket to put it inside.

so, on the table i put my phone.

i put it before the waiter-guy finished serving our orders.

then, he went back to the kitchen, i guess.

we were eating seafood,
so we used our hands to eat.
while we were eating,
i didn't pay attention to my phone,
i didn't touch a part of it.

after i finished eating,
i washed my hands.
and i intended to take photographs of my friends using my phone.

that was the moment i knew that IT vanished.
IT is not there on the table.
IT is not inside my bag, which was (as i expected) kicked.
IT was not under the table.
IT was not around our table.
IT was not inside any of my friends' bag.

IT was nowhere to be found.

i tried to call my number using my friend's phone,
but it was inactive.

it was the time when i concluded that someone took IT,
since i didn't turn IT off.

we interrogated the waiter,
but..
thieves never admit that they are thieves.
right?

IT will never ever come back to me.

...

what do you think exactly happened?

today, i'd like to say something to some of my friends.
not that crucial, but, yeah i wanna make them happy.
cuz they know how to make me feel good.

Audi, especially. if you read this blog, you'd know how much i appreciate your valuable and lovely present for me.
she gave me a fat diary and on the front page she wrote a very touchy letter,
which made me cry,
saying that it might be the last (T.T) birthday present she'd give. for me.
because next year she's moving to malaysia to continue her studies.
we've been in the same class since grade 7 and we're kinda bestfriend.
and i'd be extremely sad by the time she moves.

i also have other besties beside of her.
but deep in my heart, i love her.
she's my true friend that always supports and understands me.
i feel so sad if i remembered that we only have 4 months left....

okaay.

secondly, i'd like to thank Ryan.
we've known each other since we were a 7th-grader also.
but we were like cats and dogs.
i don't know what had happened, but we're close now. :D

for my 15th birthday he gave me a keychain consisting of for different items,
one is his colorful bracelet,
then his wallet chain that he used to wear anywhere,
a boomerang keychain,
and a yellow and tiny-and-a-bit-dirty, circle keychain.
i never saw the last two items but i bet those aren't new.

he should know that i love that keychain.
although it's not new and it might be worthless for some people.
but that's one of the presents that i won't forget.
that's the best present i got from my friends, i could say.

Thirdly, to Kwang.
He's always there when i need him.
and he always want to give me the best.
i LOVE the necklace he gave me.
it's simple but gorgeous.
small but elegant.
it is the most beauutiful gift i've had in my life.
seriously, he really knows what i love.
i'm not just exaggerating.
if you see the necklace, you'd love it!

i love to show you those 3 things,
but my laptop has a trouble with its drivers.

too many?

tomorrow is my birthday,,
but today, i, miraculously could have my afternoon nap, am sick.
this is because of the hot-rainy-and-hot-and-then-rainy-again season in denpasar.

it's a difference, you know, when i say that the cause of my illness is the season.
usually, i said that i was sick because i got so many lessons to do.
i'd blame my parents because they tell me to learn countless subjects.

everyday.
yeah except for sundays.

since i was in elementary school, people said that i was 1 cm away from a businesswoman.
they said that i was too busy as a kid, with one, two or three lesson(s) a day.
here's the list of all things that i've done since i was in elementary school :

Ballet dancing
modern dancing
abacus (math, basically)
school subject tutorials
piano lesson
singing lesson
violin lesson
guitar lesson
painting/drawing lesson
swimming tutorials
English class
megabrain lesson (makes me to memorize and learn things better and faster)

it was tiring, exhausting and dead-causing doing all of those things.
i mean, can you imagine it?
a ten-year-old girl doing 12 different additional courses.

i used to complain to my mom.
i used to not understand the importance of studying.
i used to ask "why me?" , "why that much?" , and "when?"
when do these nightmares stop haunting my days?

years passed.
and...

ballet dancing was going to Antarctica.
modern dancing was visiting Egypt.
abacus and megabrain moved to the south pole.
guitar and singing lesson was migrating to Iraq.
and the last but not least, the F-ing unimportant swimming tutorials, it flew to china.

five more lessons to go!

unexpectedly,
Chinese language made Bali as its habitat. but it only stayed for less than a year.
Japanese language stayed in Denpasar, but only for 6 months.
French language---it still lives here until today.

now, in highschool, i'm only doing 6 different lessons,
but of course they're not once a week only.
the school subjects tutorials are thrice a week.
the others are once a week!

now i think i'm more or less 7cm away from a businesswoman...

so, all of us surely have experienced changes.
this is one of many changes in my life. and this is the nice one.
but of course things change, and some might be worse than before.

may be,,,
next year i'm 9cm away.

who knows??

i got the inspiration about this posting from a korean movie i watched yesterday.

it was about a mother who did everything for his beloved children, especially to her youngest son. since he was a kid, he always said that he loved his mom so much. btw they're a lower-middle class family. that boy always slept with her mom everynight, even until he became a writer. his mom was very proud of him at that time. he was her favourite kid since all her other kids had left her because of marriage. not that she didn't love the other two.

in their small house there were only the two of'em. until one day, the kid said to his mother that he needed to live on his own so that he could do better pieces of writings. his mom let him go. and live by her own, alone. without letters or phone calls from her son. she wrote letters, but all of them are returned since the addresses were not specified.

...

his eyes were full of tears, finding his mother with other old women living and controlled together. she was crazy before. but not until she recognized her son. after 30 years since he left her.

...

he searched for clues in that old house. that nostalgic house where he lived before with her mom.he found the returned letters wrote by her mom.

and regreted that he left her. his mom always wished that he'd come back.

"I'm blind when I can see, I'm deaf when I can hear.."

yeah, i did.
i couldn't see how hard my mom struggled to make me happy, even if she has to sacrifice herself.
because of that movie i realized that my mother keeps doin the best for me.
and i'm sure, it's not just my mom, but your mom, his mom, her mom, their mom..
all of our mother.

all that i wanna say to you is,
don't be blind and deaf when you can see and hear.

see how much she has done for you.

what makes me happyyyyy

i enjoy my life so far. do you?
are you really happy? cuz, may be you're saying that you're so happy your mom bought you a blackberry or a new pair of jimmy choo's. but, think about it. is this kind of happiness likely to last for the rest of your life?

i don't think so,cuz i have experienced this type of feeling many, many times. and for me, being loved and supported by my family and friends bring me to a much more delightful life.

here's a story i want to share to all of ya:

you know, since i was a cute little girl, i always wanted to buy everything that i think is beauutiifulll. a limited edition barbie doll, a pair of exclusive nike shoes, a full collection of harajuku lovers perfume, a second-generation ipod touch, a macbook, a comfortable king koil bed to sleep on, et cetera. i thought having all of those things would make me cool and admired.

i finally got most of them, btw.
the moment i touched them, i felt really, really proud of myself that i succeeded persuading my parents to buy me those things. but.. let's say, 1 day? 1 week? 1 month later i even forgot that those stuff existed. not that i totally forgot them, but, i don't appreciate them as much as i did when they first belonged to me.

1 year later...

i forgot them completely.
entirely.

but however, i learned something.
that you may be longing for a thing that you really want. but what happens after you got them, you forget about them.

it's the reverse for the love of family and friends.
may be you don't realize how deep is their love to you. like i did before.
but when i start sharing my problems with them, especially my mom, i learned that i couldn't live without my family. i keep wondering why didn't i value my family before.
and when i recall those moments when we laughed, played, even when we were mad to each other, i thank God that he gave me an imperfect family and caring friends. they're the ones that make my life happy. i mean, really happy.

what's more...

i can't really rely on my favourite and expensive thing like i rely on my friends and fam rite?

so, start loving them even more than they love you!!

this is my first blog, and at the same time,my first posting. mentioning about first, my first week of school was a disaster. my house was flooded,and i had to walk through the path in front of my house with water up to my thigh. it was a nightmare!
speaking of the first time to experience something, for me, whether it is awful or lovely, all of us need a beginning before we start something. then we continue doing it, and finally we smile seeing the output.
hmm,, may be you guys think that this posting is a crap. but we need to start, right? so this is my starting point and i hope all of you support me by posting comments about this. and i hope you guys keep following and reading my blog.
